About Association IFS

Why the Association?

Founded in 2006 as a venue for specialized education in the financial services industry, Association IFS chose to focus on need for in-depth, academically sound education. The Association is currently the only organization conferring an 'EIA Specialist' designation. Its first designation program, Personal Retirement Planning Specialist, was released in 2007. Designees are required to complete the comprehensive, academic coursework, pass an exam, and must agree to abide by a Code of Professional Ethics.
